The Peitlerkofel

The Peitlerkofel is also called the north-western pillar of the Dolomites due to its location and the scraggy steep walls.
The summit to the west is called the ‘Kleine Peitler’ (the small Peitler) with its 2,813 m.
The mountain tour to the summit requires a steady footing and to have a good head for heights from the nick between the Kleine Peitler and Peitlerkofel on some stretches (level 1) Safety ropes and cables have been installed here. The Kleine Peitler can be explored, too.
